Governor Nikki R. Haley Proclaimed June "General Aviation Appreciation Month"

"SCAA would like to thank Governor Nikki R. Haley for recognizing that aviation plays a vital role in the South Carolina Economy." said Katie Koon, SCAA Executive Director.

South Carolina is home to 60 publicly owned airports, 4 military airports, 20 charter flight companies, 34 repair stations and 3 flight schools. Aviation provides many thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in economic activity in the state.

SCAA partnered with the SC Aeronautics Commission and the Alliance for Aviation Across America to have June proclaimed as General Aviation Appreciation Month.
